training

running and skippin: ran 2.4km round the track. objective is to train up stamina and endurance. skipping is to keep the pace. my aim is to get 250 skips. currentyl max skip is 165.
footwork:leg injured did not do much. shuttle throw. objective is to run forward to pick up the shuttle on the ground, run back to the base line and throw the shuttle, makin sure it muz go over the net. squat turn trains up the muscle on the thighs. it is to make sure u can defend fast and turn quickly to get the shot.
games: doubles match. when out of position, do not smash so hard, it will onli make things difficult for yur partner. instead, drop. this way, u can keep the game goin and u can get back to position. when defendin for the shot, squat slightly lower and raise yur racket. do not lift it too high up. bring the racket around waistlength. when in att mode, do not hit a all power smash unless ur smash is deep and fast. if the opp defends the shot, it will b hard for both u and yur partner. by hittin a half power smash, u can create chances for yur teammate and yurself. also, after smashin, remember to move up juz in case the opp defends and the shot gets in front. coordination between u and yur teammate is veri important. or else its not easy to move round the court.
