training

physical training: when moving, muz feel the stretch, or else it will be useless.
2v1: 2 people objective is to att the person. 1 is suppose to defend. both muz keep in mind to keep the game goin on, or to simply put it, keep the rally goin.
4v2: 4 people att 2. same thing, 2 muz defend and keep in mind to keep the rally goin. cant att too hard. muz always giv the opposition a chance. or else cant continue properly. for the 2 people, they muz each rotate along lik a doubles game. 4 people muz create a chance for the players to move.

training

running and skippin: ran 2.4km round the track. objective is to train up stamina and endurance. skipping is to keep the pace. my aim is to get 250 skips. currentyl max skip is 165.
footwork:leg injured did not do much. shuttle throw. objective is to run forward to pick up the shuttle on the ground, run back to the base line and throw the shuttle, makin sure it muz go over the net. squat turn trains up the muscle on the thighs. it is to make sure u can defend fast and turn quickly to get the shot.
games: doubles match. when out of position, do not smash so hard, it will onli make things difficult for yur partner. instead, drop. this way, u can keep the game goin and u can get back to position. when defendin for the shot, squat slightly lower and raise yur racket. do not lift it too high up. bring the racket around waistlength. when in att mode, do not hit a all power smash unless ur smash is deep and fast. if the opp defends the shot, it will b hard for both u and yur partner. by hittin a half power smash, u can create chances for yur teammate and yurself. also, after smashin, remember to move up juz in case the opp defends and the shot gets in front. coordination between u and yur teammate is veri important. or else its not easy to move round the court.

skippin: skipped for an hour. motive is to maintain and keep the pace. try not to think too much bout jumpin pass the rope but keep the momentum. this activity trains up yur endurance/
footwork: smash jump in front and net. this activity trains up the way to move since this movement should be lik a habit cos when u smash, the opponent defends and brings the shuttle to the front and when this happens, u hav to jump in front to net, if u r faster, u can tap. when smashing, lift the racket enough to touch the shuttle and bring the shuttle down, swingin yur hand. sometimes, the wrist comes in handy also. 'whip' the shuttle to bring the shuttle fast. train more on the wrist also.
3v1: 3 person att and 1 defends. game like activity. motive for 1 person is to defend the shots, trainin up yur defence. for 3, att as much as possible to get the feeling back and to know where to hit the shot(accuracy)
